The Society has two Exhibitions each year.

A Members’ Exhibition held towards the latter part of January which is a one day event when members and guests vote for the best paintings in a number of categories; awards are presented;

An Annual Summer Exhibition in the first two weeks of August at which there are awards for Best in Show
Advice for the presentation of paintings at Exhibitions
The feedback from visitors to the exhibitions is consistently positive and encouraging. The committee believes strongly that professional presentation of paintings plays an important part in the appearance of the exhibitions and for the reputation of the Society in general.
Frames: To be clean and undamaged with the glass dust and finger print free.
D-rings to be used and placed 1/3 down from top of frame with suitable cord; not string and preferably not wire
Gumstrip/framers tape to be used to seal frame to backboard. This to prevent dust or little creepy crawlies getting into the frames over time.Masking, gaffer or parcel tapes are not accepted..
Mounts: To be be clean and undamaged.
Unframed Paintings to be mounted on a suitable back board and protected with transparent plastic film
